The Manlius Town Board voted unanimously Wednesday night to repeal its contested law governing political lawn signs.
Town Supervisor Edmond Theobald signed a “certificate of necessity” which waives the seven-day waiting period required by municipal law before a resolution can be enacted. This way, the repeal becomes effective as soon as the resolution is filed Thursday morning, town officials said.
