This morning beginning at 11 am, CCP President David Keating will be speaking at the National Press Club as part of a three-part panel titled: “Shadow Money: Stealth, Wealth and Political Non-Profits.”
Keating joins Representative Chris Van Hollen and other esteemed panelists such as Paul Ryan of the Campaign Legal Center, Jane Mayer of The New Yorker, and Mark Schmitt of the Roosevelt Institute among others to discuss non-profits and the role they play in electioneering and campaign finance.
The event will be held from 11:oo am – 2:30 pm and is sponsored by the Center for Responsive Politics/OpenSecrets.org.
