Legislative Brief — S. 3369, the DISCLOSE Act of 2012

This Legislative Brief analyzes S. 3369, the DISCLOSE (“Democracy is Strengthened by Casting Light on Spending in Elections”) Act of 2012, with a focus on four key flaws of the legislation. Despite concerted attempted by Democrats to push previous versions of the DISCLOSE Act through Congress in past legislative sessions, it has yet to pass.
